The priest has always been one of the first people to whom those with problems caused by their own personal consumption of alcohol or that of someone dear, are addressing. This is why we believe strongly that priests, as spiritual counselors, need specific training to meet the needs of those who face the physical and spiritual disease of dependence and to help them get in the necessary recovery. To meet this need, we organize special courses structured to provide to interested clergymens information on early identification of those who have problems with alcohol, ways to inform and motivate them to use the services of specialized recovery, suggestions for family counseling etc. Also, for those parishes or organizations interested, we can provide consultancy on initiation of programs of information and counseling for those with problems with substances and their families.
