National Anti-Drug Program works with the blessing of His Beatitude DANIEL Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church blessing, in the Theological/ Educational Department – of the Romanian Patriarchate since 2008. This program has come from the need to respond in a coherent and unitary way, to the needs identified at Patriarchate level, which could be summarized as: lack of preparation of the priests in pastoral counseling of alcohol / drug adicts, due to lack of specific classes at the theological schools, and also the lack of informational and education Orthodox materials, in the field of dependence, such as media training, books, etc...
